Employment agency Manpower is for a client looking for a Order fulfillment Specialist in Den Haag.

As a/an Order fulfillment specialist you will perform the following working activities: 

• Ensuring timely placement of Purchase Orders after handover from Sourcing
• Initiating and leading Kick-Off Meetings to define coordination procedures for expediting.
• Tracking and monitoring the contractor’s baseline schedule
• Driving progress reviews with suppliers and ensuring timely receipt of progress reports
• Supporting engineering and quality teams in expediting critical documentation
• Monitoring document submittals and approval status with Engineering and Quality teams for timely manufacturing clearance
• Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure project on-time deliveries
• Conducting supplier visits and inspections to check progress on manufacturing and report on any deviations
• Assessing risks and opportunities with suppliers to prevent delays
• Collaborating with suppliers on mitigation plans in case of delays
• Issuing notifications or time extension requests to suppliers for delays
• Managing Goods Reception in the SAP/ERP system to ensure accurate On-Time Delivery (OTD)
• Providing performance feedback on suppliers to Sourcing/Commodity Leaders
• Adhering to all Order Fulfillment Processes & Tools

Working hours
The working hours in this fulltime position are hybrid during regular office hours.

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• At least three year(s) of experience working in a similar role 
• Basic knowledge of Quality standards
• Fluent in written and spoken English knowledge of the local language in the country of employment is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of planning and scheduling related to the production of thermal power plant equipment
• Experience working with SAP and various Project Management tools
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Availability of 40 hours per week
