As a postal sorter, you will be involved in the following tasks:

• Entering letters into sorting machines
• Moving bins with mail (which can sometimes be quite heavy)
• Removing mail from the machines
• Placing mail at the correct postcode

As a postal sorter, you will be involved in the logistics process behind mail delivery.

Working hours
The working hours for this part-time position are from Monday to Friday.

• Morning: between 6.00 and 12.00 hrs
• Afternoon: between 12.00 and 20.00 hrs
• Evening: between 18.00 and 1.00 hrs
• Night: between 00.00 and 7.00 hrs

16- and 17-year-olds may work between 6:00 and 23:00 and work between three to five hours per week. It may be that you are added to the schedule at a later time based on availability. If you are applying for the evening or night shift, you must be at least eighteen years old.

• Availability for at least three shifts per week (more availability is a plus!)
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language in both speaking and writing to ensure safety in the workplace
• Physically fit (as you may need to lift mailbags weighing ten kilograms)
• Own transport to commute to the work location of PostNL Den Bosch
