We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Coördinator  to join the team of our client, operating nationwide (and Belgium). In this role, you will ensure compliance with legal health and safety measures, arrange training, conduct risk assessments, and manage health and safety processes. Your responsibilities will also include preparing various reports and supporting local teams. You must possess a recognized European health and safety qualification (or be working towards it), have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and be willing to travel between locations. Manpower is looking nationwide for a Health & Safety Coördinator  for our client.

The responsibilities for this position include ensuring compliance with legal health and safety measures, arranging relevant training, conducting risk assessments, and managing administrative processes related to health and safety incidents. The role involves preparing various safety reports, acting as a point of contact for local teams, supporting risk assessment preparations, and completing accident and investigation reports. Additionally, the position requires staying updated on health and safety legislation and communicating changes to stakeholders.

This role also encompasses quality management responsibilities, such as implementing quality standards and processes, monitoring operational procedures, and reviewing QHSE aspects within locations. The individual will facilitate internal and external audits, support the overall health and safety strategy and policy, and lead projects within the health and safety management system. The role demands flexibility for temporary assignments and continuous professional development through additional education or training.

Requirements

  • Possession of a recognized European health and safety qualification or equivalent (or currently working towards it)
  • Experience in: Drawing up health and safety policies, implementing health and safety policies, and monitoring health and safety policies
  • Knowledge of developing safety strategy, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel between different locations depending on work requirements
  • Strong communication skills towards both colleagues and suppliers
  • Ability to convey the values, mission, and vision of this employer
  • In possession of a valid Driving License B
