As a junior operator, you are the first point of contact for the team coach and are responsible for both the process and the end product. You operate and maintain the HSM during the afternoon and evening hours and coach a team of operators during the night. As a technical operator, you quickly recognize, analyze and resolve common malfunctions.
Your tasks include the timely and correct processing of all mail. This means that you signal, analyze and resolve malfunctions in mail processing. In addition, you give output operators instructions to prevent and quickly resolve malfunctions. You have extensive knowledge of the machines and their parts and can perform basic maintenance. In the event of more complex malfunctions, you call in the technical service.
You are also responsible for performing and monitoring the daily and weekly maintenance of the machines. You draw up work schedules for employees during a shift, give new employees instructions and guide them in entering mail items. - Able to work and think at a mbo level, with affinity for technology
- Good command of the Dutch and/or English language, in connection with the safety instructions and for communication purposes
- Own transport
- Previously worked at PostNL or in a similar role work experience
- Availability of 28 to 30 hours per week
- Able to apply for a Code of Good Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) at your local municipality
