Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Junior operator for PostNL in Den Bosch.

As a technical operator, you are the core of the team and the first point of contact for the team coach. Your role consists of operating and maintaining the HSM during the afternoon and evening hours, and coaching a team of operators at night. You have the ability to quickly recognize, analyze and resolve common malfunctions.

You are responsible for both the process and the end product, and ensure that the mail is processed accurately and on time. Your tasks include identifying, analyzing and resolving malfunctions in mail processing. In addition, you provide instructions to output operators to prevent malfunctions and resolve them quickly when they occur. You have extensive knowledge of the machines and their components, perform basic maintenance, and call in the technical service for more complex problems. In addition, you draw up work schedules, provide instructions and guidance to new colleagues, and ensure a safe working environment. Finally, you provide valuable input to the team coach for operational decisions during the process.

Working hours
You work in shifts. The working hours can differ per day and week.

• Able to work and think at a mbo 2 level, with affinity for technology
• Previously worked at PostNL or in a similar role
• Availability of 28 to 30 hours per week 
• Own transport
• Experience with machines
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language, in connection with the safety instructions and for communication purposes
• Able to apply for a Code of Good Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) at your local municipality
