Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Payroll Consutlant for Dow in Terneuzen.

As a Payroll Consultant, you will coordinate administrative and control activities within the Payroll department. With your precision, structured approach, and flexibility, you will ensure that payroll processes run smoothly. You will work closely with various stakeholders and contribute to a high-quality compliance landscape. Your responsibilities include:

  • Processing payroll, time and attendance, and data management.
  • Ensuring confidentiality and high accuracy in information processing.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees and authorities.
  • Collaborating with other HR departments and payroll providers for data validation.
  • Participating in audits and complying with internal control and compliance frameworks.
  • Answering questions from employees and managers about payroll.
  • Preparing ad hoc reports and performing additional tasks as needed.


What you will get:

  • Gross salary between €3,300.-  and €3,800.- per 
  • A full-time position of 40 hours per week.
  • A temporary employment contract via Manpower.
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (up to 75 km) and Westerschelde tunnel reimbursement.

Working hours
You will work Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. After an onboarding period of 3 to 6 months, it is possible to work hybrid.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in Payroll, HR, Finance, or as an account specialist.
  • Fluent in English and German at a minimum B2 level.
  • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, MS Office, and SAP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
  • Strong in navigating organizational dependencies and working in diverse cultures.
  • Experience in high-volume operational environments.
  • Familiarity with internal controls and participation in audits.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage priorities.
