Manpower is looking for a client looking for a Software engineer in the Randstad.

As a Software engineer you will perform the following working activities: 

  • Software Development: Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications
  • System Design: Contribute to software architecture and design decisions
  • Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests and debug software to ensure quality
  • Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and teams to gather requirements and deliver features

Working hours
The working hours in this full-time position are between 32 and 40 hrs a week.

  • A Bachelor’s degree 
  • At least one year of experience in Java development
  • Availability of 32 hours per week 


Experience with as many of the following as possible:

  • Java/Spring Boot within a microservices architecture
  • AWS services and cloud deployment
  • SQL and PostgreSQL database management
  • DevOps practices and tools, including Kubernetes, Terraform, FluxCD, and Helm charts
  • Container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • CI/CD Tooling such as Git/GitHub and Maven
  • Monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
  • Issue tracking systems, such as Jira
  • Technologies like jOOQ, JUnit4/JUnit5, Rabbit MQ, JPA, Swagger, Spring MVC, Docker, Helm, Gradle, Flyway, IntelliJ, PostGIS, (GEO) JSON, Git, REST, and OPEN APIs, MongoDB.
  • Audio/video codecs such as RT(S)P, H.264, MP4, and AAC
  • Frontend frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS, or Vue.js 
  • Experience with Python/Django or TypeScript/React is a plus
