Manpower is looking for a Secondary Engineer for a company in Rotterdam.

As a Secondary (Electrical) Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop electrical solutions for various applications
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and proper cable routing
  • Select and specify equipment like transformers, circuit breakers, and protection relays
  • Oversee installation of switchgear, control panels, and other electrical components
  • Conduct functional testing to verify system reliability and safety
  • Prepare accurate as-built documentation and facilitate handovers
  • Work closely with testing teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with regulations

Working hours
The working hours in this position are during dayshifts from Monday till Friday. 

Requirements

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
  • Availability of 40 hours per week
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision
  • Strong influencing skills to guide others by explaining facts, policies, and best practices
  • Proven technical expertise with practical application in electrical projects
  • Fluency in English because of communication during the job. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong advantage
