Manpower is hiring an Outside Operator Polyolefins to support Dow in Hoek.

Your responsibilities as an operator include:

• Conducting inspection rounds, including identifying leaks and abnormal process conditions
• Supervising maintenance activities and issuing field permits
• Securing systems and electrical equipment for permits and system isolation
• Preparing additive batches and participating in Operational Control Systems (OCS)
• Performing housekeeping tasks and insulation inspections
• Checking and creating isolation plans, including steam trace repairs
• Reporting deviations and malfunctions via the OPD and supporting new operators
• Monitoring processes, performing controls, and troubleshooting process issues.
• Participating in Root Cause investigations and Crisis Response activities
• Sharing operational knowledge and experience to improve plant results and Operating Discipline

Working hours
In this full-time position, you will work a five-shift schedule (2-2-2), with the following shifts:

• 7.00 to 15.00
• 15.00 to 23.00 
• 23.00 to 7.00

• Willingness to work in shifts, EU nationality or valid work permit
• In possession of a valid VCA VOL diploma
• Good knowledge of the Dutch language, both spoken and written (C1), due to communication and safety requirements on the factory floor
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old due to safety regulations
• Requesting a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) is part of the application process
