As of August 1, 2006, the inspection group of Dow Benelux B.V. has been designated by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment as the "Inspection Service for Users" (KvG). The KvG is an independent group, organizationally placed within the Maintenance department. Your responsibilities as a KVG Inspector include:
- Leading the development of the inspection management program for identified equipment and piping
- Leading an Inspection Team within the KvG
- Implementing Dutch legislation as well as Dow's compliance standards for pressure equipment regarding inspections and repairs
- Creating and approving inspection plans for the periodic re-assessment of pressure equipment (equipment, piping, tanks, relief devices)
- Conducting and reporting on inspections, and providing final assessments on NDI and inspection reports
- Evaluating repair and modification plans, assessing reports related to repairs, and documenting the re-assessment timeline in SAP
- Evaluating and providing inspection history for failure analysis preparation
- Being part of the Plant Assessment Team, which discusses inspection results, prepares necessary repairs, and evaluates any deferrals for inspections and reports
- Ensuring that effective responsibilities and authorities align with the quality system

- Educational Background: At least a Bachelor's degree (EQF6) in Mechanical Engineering
- Level 3 Inspector certification according to SKK (certified)
- Hobeon Certification
- VCA VOL certification (to be obtained before the start date if not already held)
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Dutch and English (C1 level), both spoken and written, for effective communication
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- A valid Dutch work permit with at least nine months of validity remaining, or EU nationality.
- Screening: A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required as part of the onboarding process.
