Manpower is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the European region for a client.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will perform the following working activities: 

  • Achieve assigned KPIs for Power Quality products across Europe by identifying opportunities and addressing regional challenges
  • Promote company’s products through webinars, seminars, and presentations while acting as an ambassador for innovative technologies
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their needs and deliver tailored product solutions that ensure a positive customer experience
  • Manage customer quotation requests, configure products, and prepare offers aligned with their requirements
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, including order processing, design, planning, and sales channels, to streamline processes and resolve queries
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and enhancements in sales processes to drive efficiency
  • Evaluate market conditions, gather intelligence, and prepare strategic plans, sales forecasts, and comprehensive reports
  • Identify and mitigate risks while supporting market planning and ensuring effective execution of business goals

Working hours
The working hours in this full-time position are during regular office hours from 9.00 to 17.00.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering/ business
  • Minimum of five years of experience in sales, within the energy industry is a plus 
  • Technical background of power quality or similar business
  • Structured and organized, with a proven ability to take ownership 
  • Self-motivated and dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and customer-focused approach
  • Willing to travel for customer visits (minimum of 30%) 
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English. German, French or Spanish is a plus
