Site Logistics Technician Terneuzen

As a site logistics technician, you make sure all railcar loading and unloading is done according to guidelines and procedures. You have knowledge of the loading and unloading process and ensure railcars are loaded and unloaded on time. You also communicate with Rail Administration about the status of planned operations. Manpower is looking for a site logistics technician for Dow in Terneuzen.

Before your shift starts, you check the work status from the previous shift, focusing on issues like loading arm failures and product availability, which are listed on the notice board in the loading control room. You also review the planned loading and unloading operations, considering pending orders from different businesses and the schedule for outgoing trains.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing housekeeping regularly across the SLHC Loading area
• Reporting issues in the OPD logbook
• Keeping procedures up to date. If improvements are possible, submitting MOCs via the Area Focal Point
• Communicating clearly and on time with plants and the rail organization
• Correctly updating the loading and unloading module in Archibald
• Contacting the on-call person when needed
• Logging the correct information in OPD at the end of your shift and sharing this verbally with your replacement
• Updating the notice board

Working Hours
This full-time position involves working 40 hours per week.

• Minimum MBO level 3, preferably in a technical field
  VCA VOL certificate
• Proficiency in Dutch, English, and German, due to work requirements in these languages
• Availability to work 40 hours per week and willingness to work in a two-shift system
