.NET Backend Developer

We are looking for motivated and skilled .NET Backend Developers! The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of professional experience in backend development with .NET technologies and hold a relevant university degree. Manpower is looking for .NET Backend Developers for different companies around the Netherlands.

As a .NET Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions, ensuring the stability and reliability of our systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core)
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Maintain clear documentation and adhere to coding standards and best practices

Working hours
The working hours in this position are during regular office hours.

• At least two years of professional experience as a .NET Backend Developer (Alternatively, 5+ years of experience without a relevant university degree)
• Strong proficiency in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API)
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required
• Dutch language skills are a plus, but not mandatory
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git

Next to this, it is preferred if you have experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), and security best practices.
