Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Trade and Transport Specialist for a client in Eindhoven.

As a Trade and Transport Specialist you will be strengthening the multi-disciplinary logistics team. You will be responsible for tasks such as: 
  • Ensures shipments are sent on time and according to defined plan and schedule
  • Prepares administrative transportation documentation and executes daily order transmission towards the external warehouse
  • Releases shipments to forwarders based on vendor packing lists
  • Provides administrative support in the identification and selection of forwarders for domestic and export transportation
  • Ask for RFQ’s based on mode of transport and order volume
  • Liaises with transportation and logistics group for freight rates, documentation and delivery
  • Checks the transport and warehousing invoices in line with rates, RFQ’s & SLA’s and process them in the system
  • Supports the development and implementation of improved processes & systems and maintains master data and key figures
  • Archives all documentation regarding shipping and delivery to the customer

Working Hours
In this full-time position, working hours are from Monday to Friday during regular office hours. 

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in trade and transport
  • At least a mbo degree (secondary vocational education) in a relevant field such as Logistics
  • Availability of 40 hours per week 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and preferably also Dutch due to working activities
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • A solution-focused approach
