Manpower is looking for an associate operator for Dow in Terneuzen (Hoek).

As an operator, you will be responsible for managing assigned equipment or areas of the plant. You will work with your team members to quickly respond to unexpected events, solve problems within the team’s abilities, and escalate issues that need further support. Some of your tasks will include:

• Training less experienced operators
• Monitoring process conditions, key performance metrics, equipment, and control systems
• Carrying out scheduled operational tasks and handling tasks that arise from unexpected events
• Collaborating with your team and other teams to use skills and knowledge to complete tasks on time
• Using your process knowledge and skills to improve plant performance and operational discipline
• Proactively identifying improvements

Working hours
In this full-time role, you will work on a rotating shift schedule (2-2-2). The working hours are:

• 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• A short-term tertiary degree (such as an Associate Degree) in Process Technology or a related field, along with experience in process operations, manufacturing, or other related areas, is preferred. If you don’t have the degree, equivalent years of experience are required
• Availability for full-time work per week
• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, is required for communication with colleagues and clients

Don’t have a full MBO-4 Process Technology diploma yet? No problem, you can still apply! If you have completed a HAVO diploma (e.g., with a Science and Technology profile), you are also eligible. In that case, you will only need to complete the Vapro B training
