Employment agency Manpower is looking for several production operators for AkzoNobel in Sassenheim.

Please note: due to safety instructions, you must have a good command of the English and/or Dutch language.

Your work day starts with a transfer in which is discussed in detail what you are going to do. Then you put on a special overall and a Jupiter mask. Thanks to your previous work experience, you quickly learn how to operate different machines. This will eventually make you employable in different workplaces! You will enter the production department and perform these tasks, among others:

• Adjusting machines with proper settings
• Making decisions during crucial production moments
• Ensuring safety by following the LOTOTO policy
• Control the quality of raw materials with production charts
• Deciding on the proportions of raw materials, such as calculating how many ingredients you need to make products

Working hours
As an operator, you work full-time in two shifts from Monday to Friday. Working hours are as follows:

• From 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• From 1:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.

• At least one year of relevant work experience as an operator, process operator (chemistry), technical operator, production worker, chemical operator or similar
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language to ensure safety
• Physically good condition to lift heavy bags up to 23 kilograms
• Availability of 40 hours per week
• Good math skills
• Willingness to work in shifts and with personal protective equipment (PPE)
