Manpower is searching for a Senior Financial Accountant for our client working from Schiphol.

As Senior Financial Accountant, you are responsible for the full cycle of Finance within the company, located in the Netherlands. Besides the local entity, you are also financially responsible for the subsidiaries in Germany and Norway. The Finance team exists of 3, CFO, Chief Accountant and Junior Financial Accountant. You as the Senior Financial Accountant will act as the right hand of the Chief Accountant, while also provide substantial guidance to the Junior Financial Accountant. 

The responsibilities include:

• Input invoices for Dutch and German accounts
• Review invoices receivable in an accurate manner
• Update and check customer duty deposit details
• Account Receivable Aging update
• Check the status of outstanding invoices before monthly settlement and coordinate with relevant parties to complete the approval in a timely manner
• Assist in completing tax declarations for the Netherlands, Germany, and Norway
• Assist with monthly account closing
• Assist in completing annual auditing & budgeting
• Check the packing materials balance when receiving the purchasing applications
• Perform random stock-taking of packing materials

Working hours
You will work from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 to 17.00 hrs (flexible).

• Minimum HBO level, with an education background in accounting
• Minimum five years of experience in accounting field in multinational or logistics company
• Detail-oriented and have a good command of accounting
• Able to work independently and under pressure with effectiveness and efficiency
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
• Good command in both written and spoken Dutch & English
• Good skills in Office software applications
• Familiarity with Twinfield is a plus
